Crystal 13 - Rose Quartz

THIS MAKES SENSE

so im going to be a little lenient when it comes to personality, and rose is going to be juuuust a bit nicer than canon marluxia. dont get me wrong, he's still going to be a self centered flamboyant asshole, but he won't be as power-hungry as he is in the games. He'll more so prioritize and believe in the importance of freedom. 

i have a lot planned for his backstory... where do i even start? like, he was originally just a really powerful rose quartz soldier under pink diamond's (probably young xehanort's) authority. He always knew he was destined for greatness, and knew that he wanted more for himself than to just be a lowly soldier. Due to his Jasper like perfection, he ended up being very high up in pink diamond's court, and was his personal body guard. Because of his status, he ended up deserving a pearl. However, because of the beginnings of a resource shortage, many of the pearls at the pearl-manufacturing-place-thing came out defective. One for a yellow diamond noble was too green in hue, had some semblance of free will, and was rather crabby. luckily, our rose happened to overhear a workers exchange about said pearl, and entered just before the pearl was going to be sent off to be harvested. When rose was told that his pearl was taking a little too long to form, he chose to just take him instead, cause he was "in a hurry" and "rather busy". 

pearl, as he guessed, didnt like him much, and he loved it. he realized that a being could act for their own, be their own person. It was what he wanted to do all along, be original, unique and free. with that, after much planning with his rather intelligent new 'friend', he mercilessly killed pink diamond, and started the rebellion. 

so yea im super excited about doing this, i dunno if im going to make like a comic or whatever, but i know im going to do something with this this will be fun c:
